    Hi Martin,
Thanks for hosting us at Fourpeaks last week. It was another wonderful stay for me and an exhilarating first-time experience for Matt. It's funny how things are still so familiar to me after years of being away. There's definitely a homey feeling to Fourpeaks; I've never felt out of place. My favorite memories from this visit are those of our walk through Lori woods up to rattlesnake, the biscuits and honey with chamomile tea (a dream for a pregnant eating machine such as myself), and our little talk about Russian literature. I was pretty surprised when you mentioned Bulgakov, since he's really been one of my favorites for years, but not many Americans are into him. I'll be searching for the Akhmatova short story book for you, so that I can send it, but it's in Russian, so you'd better brush up! Matt had a great time hiking up Rattlesnake and standing like an idiot in the snow when it really started coming down, since he'd never really seen falling snow before. New Camp was great for us! It was neither too big nor too small and the wood stove kept us very cozy. Anyway, we both had a great time; it was exactly what we needed, only we really should have stayed longer.

As we mentioned to you before leaving, we'd love to come up for an extended stay sometime, hopefully before the baby comes. We'll have to discuss it some more to figure out how things will work out with our schedules. Matt would certainly be interested in the work-stay program, and is quite able-bodied, if you need any help. I'd really like to stay at a remote camp in the future or at Gypsy, since I haven't stayed there yet, but I'm very flexible and have enjoyed my stays at all the Fourpeaks camps I've visited so far. In fact, I really wouldn't mind moving around from one camp to another if we have a long stay, as you mentioned as a possibility.

I hope that you're doing well!
