    Your_Message: Martin,
My stay at the Thoreau house was the ultimate idea of what I call paradise. I can not seem to stop thinking about New York, and my next visit back to the Adirondack camp. I still have plenty to explore! Please look for some photos of my experience that will be on your way in an email.
I am so grateful for your passion about Nature and your cabins which are remarkable.
    Thank you!

    (Labor Day Weekend)

I just wanted to Thank You for the relaxing experience I had here in the Thoreau House. New York is extremely beautiful and I was lucky enough to see some amazing views from Rattlesnake Knob, The West Path is a bit overgrown, so Jake and I used Smith Road to get there. Cougar was basically our expert navigator as he led the whole way. Needless to say he was very tired on our way home.

I also enjoyed baking the biscuits that we were greeted with alongside the honey (which is probably the best honey I ever had!)

There are many memories to be shared with my friends and family back in Michigan. I am sad to leave so soon but Cougar and I have decided that we will be back to spend winter break here (hopefully in Gypsy) and I am excited to see what views the Mtns. have to offer during the holiday season.

Again, I thank you for providing such a perfect getaway. It was a perfect remedy for a life that resides in a very fast pace and tentative lifestyle. There is absolutely nothing better than that chance toi sit back, laugh with friends, pick wildflowers and tire out a reckless puppy! Look forward to seeing you soon. I wish you all the best.

    Until then,
    Lizz S******
(P.S. One of the chairs is broken in the dining room . . . almost fell right through!)
