Date : 7/29/2004 Time : 8:54 AM Name : Mike & Carolyn Ryd** Email : mryd**@safelinknetworks.com Location : Franklin, NJ Comments : We stayed at New Camp for our 6th wedding anniversary. We brought our bassett hound Stanley along with us. As soon as I walked into the cabin I said out loud, "This is perfect." Basing our vacation on pictures and descriptions off a website is a scary notion. Anyone can make a place look great online. Well, the opposite is true of Fourpeaks. It's much better in person than it appears online. The cabin is solid and well maintained, and the land is the land. Beautiful and left alone. I wanted to walk all day, but I didn't get the chance to. Our dog would tire much too soon into our walks, partially because it was hot, but mostly because it was all uphill! But that's okay, we spent our days reading, sleeping, and talking. I read about 1500 pages during the week. We took Stanley down to the Au Sable river so he could cool off after one of our longer walks. What a place, what a time! We can't wait to go back.
