First effort was The Hideout, carved out of what was an auto shop for parts and repair. Limited light from outside, as the windows open into covered sheds. We did the best with high windows, but it remained dark after all. Very safe. And fun in the Winter with a fire in the old Olive Oak stove. Comfortable armchairs, and bookcases all around. Oriental rugs. Big Spanish library table from my NYC office in the 70's. An 8x10 fully equipped Chef Kitchen. Dresser with dried flowers and pine needles. Chef Kitchen at Camp Barn. Old Peerless cooking range. High tech work counter--Corian and granite. 7 cu.ft. gas refrigerator. The Office. Salvaged tin fireplace. Chickadee corner. Pine view. Audio system. 12 volt battery power.
